Greetings!
As fall cleaning starts again and many of us return to the gym, I
thought a couple articles on discipline and cleaning products would be
appropriate.
I have decided to experiment with a new focus for Human Venture Coaching: Life learning made practical. Let me be clear; learning from life IS
practical. It is just that sometimes the lessons take a long time to
find or are uncomfortable to accept. I want to find the larger patterns
in the smaller moments, and bridge the every day with the eternal.
Don't know what I mean? Read on and enjoy.
Yours truly, Chris

U Venture : The Training Grind In the Tao of Jeet Kune Do, Bruce Lee said, "Training
is one of the most neglected phases in athletics. Too much time is
given to the development of skill and too little to the development of
the individual for participation." What does a martial artist
turned movie star have to say about our life pursuits? It turns out a
lot... for people who seek to live well.

Human Venture : How my bathroom products came to be...
As
I was brushing my teeth, I noticed the dizzying array of products
lining the bathtub. I wondered, what more does one need than a bar of
soap and shampoo? And theoretically you only need the shampoo since it
acts as a reasonably effective body wash. Nevertheless, I am told that
there can never be enough shelf space around the shower.
This
got me thinking about how we decided that these products were important
in our lives to begin with. Why do we use them? How did we come to know
that? And what might that tell us about how we come to know anything?
Trust me, I am going somewhere with this.
